A trip to the Planetarium and Astronomical Observatory

Dnia 23 maja 2018 roku uczniowie klasy 3A gimnazjum odwiedzili Planetarium i Obserwatorium Astronomicznego UJK w Kielcach. Przewodnikiem po Planetarium i Obserwatorium był dr inż M. Drabik. Pierwszym etapem pobytu na UJK było Planetarium. Tu zaproszono nas na seans astronomiczny, prezentujący ruch gwiazd i innych ciał niebieskich po orbicie nieba. Następnie odwiedziliśmy obserwatorium astronomiczne, w którym przez dużą lunetę mieliśmy okazję zobaczyć Słońce w jego wędrówce po niebie. Ostatnim punktem wizyty była wystawa meteorytów własności Krzysztofa Sochy. Uczniowie dowiedzieli się jak odróżnić meteoryt od pseudometeorytu. Po obejrzeniu wystawy wyszliśmy na taras widokowy i oglądaliśmy panoramę Kielc.

On 23rd May 2018 students from class 3A of the middle school went to the Planetarium and Astronomical Observatory located at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce. Ph D M. Drabik showed these places round. First, the students visited the Planetarium where they watched a short film presenting a movement of the stars and other celestial bodies around the sky orbit. Next, the students visited the Astronomical Observatory where they had a chance to see the Sun moving around the sky. Finally, the students watched the display of meteorites, owned by Krzysztof Socha. The students found out how to differ meteorite from pseudo meteors. After that, the students moved to the observation deck and admired the skyline of Kielce.
